Memorandum for the Secretary of State : I believe that tomorrow you and I are to meet to discuss the composition of the party to go to Bermuda.1 From what you said I assume you are counting on going, which delights me.2
I venture to suggest that we will need a minimum of the so-called "experts." Consequently, in our delegation, I should very much like to take along one senator from each party. If, in addition, we could take John Vorys and his opposite number, I think that would be desirable.3 However, we would, of course, have to consult Winston about all these things before we could issue any firm invitations.
I send this along to you merely so we won't forget to take up these particular items.
