Dear Arthur: I have put the matter of the postage stamp to commemorate the Bicentennial of Columbia University into Mr. Summerfield's hands.1 I am hopeful that the Post Office Department will see fit to permit such an issue. While the official mill grinds slowly, I shall nevertheless follow the matter up and let you know the reaction as soon as possible.2
With all good wishes, Sincerely
