Dear Sandra: Thank you very much for your nice note.1 I thoroughly enjoyed your short visit to my office; quite naturally I am pleased that you also felt it worth while.
This morning I had a talk with your uncle, Clifton Miskelly.2 He gave me some of the details of the courageous and remarkably successful fight you have been making to regain your health. I remarked to him that such a story makes some of the rest of us feel rather small when we get to feeling a bit bowed down with troubles, problems and tribulations. Not only shall I never forget the story he told me, but I am quite certain that from it I will more than once, in the future, draw true inspiration.3
With my very best wishes for your continued and speedy progress toward full health and vigor, and for continued success in your studies. Sincerely
