Dear Bill: Let me urge you to prolong your Florida visit beyond the one or two days that you are counting on and get some good rest in the sun. You work too hard and don’t forget the old saying that that kind of thing will make you a dull boy. You can’t afford that when you have George as a partner.1
Mamie and I have never had a happier weekend.2 We felt it was a real lark. She and David are loud in your praises as the prognosticator, and, incidentally, the weekend was helped out a lot by the provision of caviar that we had a result of your thoughtfulness.
I have just heard that the plane reservation did not work out.3 I am sorry. As ever
